Elias Abboud is a Lebanese musician, specialized in both Oriental and Occidental percussion. From the young age of three, Elias discovered his passion for rhythm through the Darbouka, taught by his father.
To pursue his passion, he joined the Lebanese National Conservatory for six years of Percussion and Darbouka studies. At 15, Elias joined a musical marching band and performed for seven years.
He later collaborated with a Cuban band in Lebanon, developing a unique Cuban-Arabic fusion. In November 2012, Elias performed with Sting during the Bass Tour Concert in Lebanon.
In both 2013 and 2017, he attended rhythm camps organized by Misirli Ahmet, one of his idols. These experiences shaped Elias's fusion style and technical mastery.
Always eager to grow, Elias studies rhythms from Indian, Latin, Turkish, Arabic, and African traditions. His humility and curiosity fuel his daily dedication to practicing and innovating.
In 2017, he joined the “Lahon w Bass” TV talk show band as a Darbouka and Congas performer, adding vibrant percussion to the show's satirical energy.
